Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lester Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and OzzakaSan Phreak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Phreak has chosen Sandman as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Lester Matthews is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Seu Braga and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews rushes Phreak and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Matthews is looking for a takedown.

Phreak tries to pull guard but Matthews won't allow it.

Phreak circles away from the clinch attempt
and Phreak counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Phreak shoots in looking for a takedown. Matthews tries to sprawl out of it but Phreak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Matthews manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fighters circling - Phreak throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Matthews displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Phreak.

Matthews wants to sweep here but Phreak controlling him for the moment.
Phreak sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Matthews's guard.
Phreak is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Matthews doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Phreak.
Phreak is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Phreak decides to return to a standing position.
Matthews seems to have got his legs back now.
Phreak wants to clinch.
Phreak misses with a takedown attempt - Matthews sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Phreak has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Matthews is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Phreak manages to get to full guard.

Phreak throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

OzzakaSan Phreak dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Phreak swats away the attempt to clinch by Matthews.
Matthews fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Phreak.
Matthews shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Phreak as he jumps to the side.

Matthews jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Phreak walks away with a smile on his face. Matthews gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Phreak tries to score a power double leg takedown but Matthews sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Phreak somewhat.

and Phreak counters with a big head kick but Matthews shrugs it off.
Phreak looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Matthews is fending him off so far but Phreak persists. Nope, Matthews circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that Lester Matthews will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Matthews.

Matthews shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Phreak eats them both and turns towards Matthews to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Phreak lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Matthews has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Matthews and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

OzzakaSan Phreak seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Phreak bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Phreak takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Matthews tries to buck Phreak off but Phreak is having none of it.

Phreak is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Matthews is just riding it out for now. Phreak eventually gives up the hold.
Matthews wants to control but Phreak is keeping busy and won't allow it.

OzzakaSan Phreak comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Phreak has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

OzzakaSan Phreak really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Hellraiser FightGear logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
