Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mikel Mcgee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Iggor Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mikel Mcgee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iggor Souza! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcgee shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Souza as he avoids it easily. Mcgee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Souza utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Souza keeping full guard, as Mcgee tries to pass. Souza pushes Mcgee off and scrambles back to his feet.
Mcgee darts in and clinches Souza up against the cage. Souza fails to pull guard.
Mcgee has had enough of the clinch but Souza keeps him there for the moment. Mcgee goes for a takedown in the clinch but Souza prevents it.
Souza manages to break the clinch.
Mcgee dodges the punch combination from Souza.
Souza misses with an attempted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcgee shoots in for a takedown but Souza shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mikel Mcgee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Souza throws a quick inside leg kick. Souza circles away from the clinch attempt.
A solid body kick from Souza. Mcgee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Souza paws at him with a jab and circles away. Souza is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Souza gets a clinch. Mcgee working aggressively here.
Souza jumps guard but Mcgee stands there with Souza around his waist. Souza gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Souza is trying to stall.
Mcgee is working for takedown but Souza is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Souza is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mcgee to keep the fight standing. Souza's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Mcgee avoids the head kick by Souza.
Souza fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mcgee, pushing him back against the cage. Souza misses with a knee strike.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Souza is leaning against Mcgee and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Mcgee works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Souza wants to stand and escape but Mcgee is having none of it. Souza can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Mcgee controls the pace. Mcgee postures up in Souza's guard and throws a big left but Souza blocks it. Souza has a closed guard, preventing Mcgee from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Souza working a defensive guard here.
Souza is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mcgee is controlling him.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A momentary lapse in concentration from Souza enables Mcgee to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Souza manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Souza is pulling down on Mcgee's head. It's preventing any offense from Mcgee, at least for the moment. Souza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mcgee can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Souza looks winded! Mcgee controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcgee wanted to stand there but Souza had control of the position. Mcgee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Mcgee wants to control from the top but Souza keeps moving.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Mikel Mcgee wasn't doing enough on the ground. Souza fails in his attempt to clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Souza shoots in and drives through. Mcgee sprawls well. Mcgee looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Souza is fending him off so far but Mcgee persists. Nope, Souza circles away and we're back to standing. Souza lands a high kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Iggor Souza will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mcgee bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
It looks like Mikel Mcgee has been cut. Souza tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad. Souza bucks up and throws Mcgee to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! Mcgee drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Souza escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Mcgee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Mikel Mcgee overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Mcgee is pushing down on Souza's leg trying to pass to half guard. Souza is fighting to maintain full guard but Mcgee has managed to sneak the leg through. Souza is trying to escape back to his feet but Mcgee uses the scramble to pass into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mcgee wants to stand but Souza is controlling his arm. Mcgee takes a little break here. Souza wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Souza is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Mcgee tries to move to mount but Souza blocks the move with his legs. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Mikel Mcgee just wasn't active enough. Souza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mcgee's waist but Mcgee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Souza off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Souza shoots in but no luck this time. Souza will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Mcgee drives through and clinches with Souza against the cage.
Nice body punch from Mcgee - that landed with a thud.
Mcgee breaks from the clinch.
Mcgee looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Souza is trying to stand back up but Mcgee is controlling him
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mcgee connects with a nice short shot to Souza's temple. Mcgee controlling the action here. It looks like Mcgee is going to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgee is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Souza! Mcgee manages to capitalize on a mistake by Souza to take his back! Mcgee trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Souza doesn't escape. Mcgee is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Souza up.
Mcgee has his opponent's back and is working for the choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mcgee keeps control of the position as Souza tries to break free.
Mcgee controlling the position well here. Souza rolled but Mcgee kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Souza is keeping busy.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mcgee working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mikel Mcgee dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Mikel Mcgee's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. And we move into the final round!
Mcgee shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Souza as he jumps to the side. Mcgee tries to clinch up but Souza circles away and keeps his distance. Mcgee throws a right and a left that Souza avoids nicely. Souza closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Mcgee jumps into guard, dragging Souza to the mat.
Souza would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Souza won't allow Mcgee to sweep him here. Mcgee pulls Souza in to control the position. Mcgee scores with a couple of body punches from the bottom.
Mcgee on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Mcgee tries to get out of the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza wants to stand but Mcgee has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Souza decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Souza misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Souza doesn't manage to clinch there - Mcgee circles away.
Mcgee clinches up against the cage. Souza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Souza gets caught napping as Mcgee dives in and scores a takedown. Souza manages to retain guard. Souza takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mcgee is stalling in the full guard. Souza uses the cage to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Souza clobbers Mcgee with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mcgee gets a double leg takedown into Souza's guard. Mcgee perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Mcgee tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Souza. Mcgee passes to full mount! Souza tries to hold on but Mcgee pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mcgee putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Souza is trying desperately to improve position. Mcgee landing strikes from the mount. Mcgee takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Souza squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
Mcgee wants to get back to his feet but Souza is holding on tight.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Souza is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
Mcgee controlling his opponent. Mcgee seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Souza for as long as he can get away with. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Souza is trying desperately to improve position.
And that's the end of the fight! Mikel Mcgee showed his dominance in that final round. I think Mcgee has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
