Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Joe Destroyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Redban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redban is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: M83 - Midnight City. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Destroyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brian Redban! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Phil Schofield and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Destroyer goes for a double leg but Redban avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Redban continues to drive forward. Redban lands a shoulder strike. Redban lands a hook that snaps the head of Destroyer backwards. Destroyer is trying to drag Redban to the mat but Redban just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Nice body punch from Redban - that landed with a thud.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Redban. Destroyer tries for a takedown but Redban manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Destroyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Destroyer goes for a takedown in the clinch but Redban prevents it.
Redban's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A big right from Redban misses. A head kick misses from Redban. Redban throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Joe Destroyer has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Redban misses with the combination.
Redban throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Destroyer stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Destroyer shoots for a double leg takedown but Redban sprawls well. He's pushed Destroyer's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Good exchange - Redban coming out on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Redban - that will leave a mark!

Destroyer is breathing heavily. Redban works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Redban throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Destroyers head. Redban lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Destroyer backwards.
Destroyer is rocked! Destroyer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Redban fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Oh Destroyer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Redban and Destroyer are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Redban throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Destroyer into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Redban knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Brian Redban! After winning the bout, Brian Redban thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
