Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dexter Dalit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Andrew Hartley!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dalit scores with a nice head shot.

Hartley closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Dalit quickly recovers to half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Dalit is trying to stand up here but Hartley is controlling him well.
Hartley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Dalit on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Dalit tries to get out of the position.
Dalit wants to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dalit avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hartley.
Hartley drops an elbow to the side of Dalit's head.

Hartley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dalit doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hartley.
Hartley is just content to waste time from the top position. Dalit takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Hartley distracts Dalit with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Hartley drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Dalit dives on top into guard.
Dalit wanted to stand there but Hartley had control of the position.

Hartley is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Dalit is aware though and is defending well.
Hartley manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dalit manages to get himself to full guard.

Dalit works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Dalit scores with a nice right hand.
Nice body kick there by Dalit.
Hartley takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

Hartley darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hartley lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Hartley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Hartley thows a huge punch but Dalit dodges it nicely.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Andrew Hartley has got the better of the ground game so far.
Dalit looks like he's trying to stand up.
Hartley stalling away here and it's allowed Dalit to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Hartley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dalit manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hartley has Dalit in his guard.

Hartley looking for a sweep. Not yet Hartley, not yet.
Dalit knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hartley on the ground.
Hartley manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Dalit trying desperately to get to his feet.
Hartley cracks Dalit with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Hartley trying to control but Dalit is having none of it.
Hartley punishing his opponent with strikes.
Dalit wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hartley.
Hartley throwing strikes here but Dalit is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.

Hartley goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Dalit turns into him and now he's in Hartley's guard.
Dalit wants to stand but Hartley is controlling his posture from full guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Andrew Hartley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!


No joy there for Dalit, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dalit lands with a straight right. Hartley didn't see that one coming.
Hartley looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Dalit connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hartley's hands.
Dalit works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A lazy left from Dalit finds it's target.
Dalit scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Dalit cracks Hartley with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Dalit blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Dalit's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Dalit misses with a looping right.
Dalit throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hartley.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dalit throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hartley on the side of the head.
Dalit tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hartley paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Dalit misses with a left hand

and Hartley counters by clinching up.
Dalit slowing the pace effectively.
Dalit throws a punch but it's blocked by Hartley.
Dalit is struggling to control the position.
Hartley goes for a takedown in the clinch but Dalit prevents it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hartley trying to control the position but instead, Dalit has worked for underhooks and has pushed Hartley into the cage.
Dalit trying to stall but Hartley improves his position.

Dalit manages to break the clinch.
A jab from Dalit misses.
Hartley closes the distance and clinches up with Dalit, looking for a takedown. Hartley pushes Dalit against the cage but Dalit circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Hartley moves out of range of the body kick.
Hartley closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Hartley circles away from the clinch attempt.

Dalit clinches.
Dalit stops a takedown attempt from Hartley.
Dexter Dalit has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Hartley.

Dalit pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Dalit lands a jab-cross combination.
Dalit lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Dalit throws a looping overhand right but Hartley ducks down to avoid it.
Dalit jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A cross from Dalit lands.
Dalit darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Hartley is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Dalit's jab looks to have found its range, popping Hartley under the eye.
Hartley misses with a few strikes there.

Dalit moves into the clinch.
Dalit gets through Hartley's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Dalit stalling.
Dalit lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Dalit slows down the pace here.
Dalit is leaning against Hartley and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.
Hartley blocks an uppercut.
Dalit lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Hartley or not.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dalit dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Dalit gets through Hartley's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Dalit lands an uppercut.
Nice body punch from Dalit - that landed with a thud.

And that's the end of the fight!
Dexter Dalit showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Hartley has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
