The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tran tries to bum rush Kingston with a series of wild strikes but Kingston uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Kingston avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lehbron Kingston seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kingston tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Tran counters with a one-two to the body. Kingston fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kingston moves in looking to clinch but Tran pushes him off. Kingston looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Kingston doesn't manage to clinch there - Tran circles away.
Kingston tries to clinch up but Tran circles away and keeps his distance. Kingston gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Kingston using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Tran has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tran tries to break free but Kingston pushes him back against the cage. Tran is trying to push Kingston away but Kingston has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Tran avoids the elbow strike from Kingston, against the cage.
Kingston throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Tran blocks it with crossed arms. Kingston's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Kingston putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Tran in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Kingston has a couple of punches blocked by Tran.
Kingston misses with a hook from the clinch. Tran working hard to break the clinch. Kingston tries to land a knee to the head but Tran blocks with his arms.

It looks like Jerzy Tran has been cut.

Kingston unloads a knee to the mid-section. Tran lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. This has been an exciting period of action! Kingston connects with a knee to the head.
The referee is keeping an eye on Kingston - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Kingston seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Kingston connects with a knee to the head.

Tran is rocked! Kingston lands an elbow inside. Tran is still on wobbly legs! Can Kingston finish him? Kingston has Tran pressed against the cage. He pushes Tran back and as he springs towards him off the cage, Kingston throws a beautiful elbow that sends Tran crashing to the floor! Kingston piles on the pressure with more strikes! Tran is flailing away but he's not defending himself and the referee steps in to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lehbron Kingston! A very excited looking Lehbron Kingston rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
