Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bardock Leo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Keen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Leo kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Fatal. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bardock Leo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Justin Keen!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leo tries to clinch up.
Leo really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Leo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Keen but Keen pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Leo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Keen. Keen obviously looking to wear him down.
Leo blocks a head kick by Keen.
Keen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Leo.

Leo scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Keen manages to get to full guard.
Keen thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Leo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Keen has momentary wrist control but Leo slips an elbow through the middle.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Leo has a closed guard, preventing Keen from standing up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Keen scoring with punches to the head and body.
Keen trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Keen looking to sit in guard and control but Leo gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Keen is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Keen trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Keen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Leo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Leo wants to stand but Keen is controlling his posture from full guard.
Keen throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Leo wants to stand but Keen has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Keen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Leo!
Keen postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Leo looks a forlorn figure.
Leo wants to hold on but Keen pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Keen dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Keen throws a nice inside leg kick.
Keen lands a nice looking kick to the body. Leo takes a step back to recover.
Leo throws a leg kick that misses.
A bone on bone clash there as Leo blocks the leg kick.
Leo doesn't manage to clinch there - Keen circles away.

Keen closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Leo trying to hold on to Keen's head to control him but Keen postures up.
Leo is not content to let Keen control the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Keen is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Leo!

Leo is desperately trying to improve his position but Keen has a good base and remains in mount.
Leo in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Leo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Keen on the ground.
Leo tries to lock up and control but Keen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Keen is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Leo has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Keen looking to control and managing it successfully.

Keen has control of Leo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Leo regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Leo is desperately trying to improve his position but Keen has a good base and remains in mount.
Keen scoring with strikes but Leo is staying in there.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Leo tries to lock up and control but Keen gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Keen wants to control the pace but Leo is squirming around nicely.
Keen with shots to the head and body - Leo looks very uncomfortable down there.
Keen scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Leo?

Keen has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Leo is forced to tap!
