Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ripp Arrm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ripp Arrm is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jackson Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
26 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ripp Arrm! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Arrm tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Davis paws at him with a jab and circles away. Arrm closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Davis to the mat! Davis manages to get full guard. Arrm not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Arrm connects with a couple of short punches. Arrm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Arrm is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Davis throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Arrm told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. Arrm seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ripp Arrm hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Arrm shoots in and drives through. Davis sprawls well. Arrm scores with a takedown into Davis's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Arrm lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Arrm is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Arrm stops Davis from standing up. Arrm sitting in guard, not really doing much. Arrm advances position into side control! Arrm controlling the position from side mount. Davis is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Arrm has just dragged him back down to the mat. The referee asks Arrm politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Arrm prefers to stall for the moment though. Arrm lands an elbow. Arrm controls the position. Davis is trying to get back to his feet. Arrm is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Davis looks calm but he's in trouble here. Arrm gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Davis is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Arrm lets go of the hold and Davis can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ripp Arrm!
