Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Weiner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor McGregor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, William Peck and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGregor shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
McGregor shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Weiner pinned against the cage. Weiner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Weiner gets caught flat footed, as McGregor shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.

Weiner working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. McGregor doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. McGregor manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
McGregor wants to pass the guard but Weiner is keeping the position.

Weiner escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McGregor gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McGregor content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Weiner has locked up a guillotine! Weiner's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? McGregor is holding on here and Weiner must be using up a lot of energy. McGregor has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Weiner gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
