The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baga is looking to clinch.

Baga rushes Lucas and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Baga turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Baga manages to end up in side control.
Baga takes a little break here. Lucas wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Baga wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lucas, who protects the arm well.
Baga with the ground and pound but Lucas regains half guard under the barage of strikes.

Baga is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bogdan Baga hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Baga throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fight stays on the outside here - Baga looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Baga closes the distance and pushes Lucas back into the cage.

Baga manages to break the clinch.

Baga closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Baga closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lucas's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Baga can do anything to dispel that myth.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Baga shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lucas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
