Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cam Kran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Myles Makdessi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Myles Makdessi has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Cam Kran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Myles Makdessi! The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Makdessi shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Kran tries to roll over but Makdessi keeps him under control. Makdessi passes into side control, despite Kran's attempt to control the position.
Kran is looking to regain half guard here but Makdessi keeps moving and retains side control. Makdessi wants to control for a moment but Kran uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Makdessi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kran does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kran could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Makdessi looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kran moves into full guard.
Kran had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Makdessi defends it easily. Kran might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Makdessi slips nicely into half guard. Kran wants to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Makdessi missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Kran trying to hold on to Makdessi's head to control him but Makdessi postures up.
Makdessi is looking for a kimura but Kran is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Makdessi to get the leverage. Kran is looking for a sweep. Makdessi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kran is working hard here to advance position. Kran regains full guard. Nicely done. Kran keeping moving, preventing Makdessi from controlling successfully. Kran throws his legs up looking for a submission but Makdessi uses it to pass to side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kran tries to improve position but can't. Makdessi working away. Makdessi looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Kran sneaks back into half guard. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Makdessi in particular looking to stall.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kran controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Makdessi seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Kran does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Kran is trying to get back to full guard. Kran wants to control but Makdessi is keeping busy.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Makdessi wants to take a breather but Kran is having none of it.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Myles Makdessi hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. A momentary lapse in concentration from Makdessi enables Kran to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Makdessi manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Cam Kran will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Makdessi dives in for a single leg takedown but Kran sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Makdessi breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Cam Kran is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kran looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Makdessi is fending him off so far but Kran persists. Nope, Makdessi circles away and we're back to standing. Makdessi shoots in for a takedown but Kran shows good takedown defense. Makdessi manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kran on his heels. He'll look to pass Kran's guard now, I'm sure. Kran is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Makdessi drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Makdessi jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Kran escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Makdessi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Kran controls Makdessi momentarily but Makdessi frees himself. Makdessi loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Makdessi won't allow Kran to sweep him here. Makdessi postures up.

Kran is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Makdessi in particular looking to stall. Cam Kran overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Kran wants to control but Makdessi is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Myles Makdessi will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's time! Kran's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Kran fails with the takedown and Makdessi counters with a stiff right hand. Kran with a lazy takedown attempt and Makdessi counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kran shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kran won't allow Makdessi to sweep him here. Kran throws a big right hand that misses. Makdessi is trying to control the position but Kran postures up. Kran is working Makdessi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Kran missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Makdessi working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kran doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kran manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kran's corner. There ya go! There ya go! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Kran trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kran landing with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Makdessi keeping full guard, as Kran tries to pass. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kran missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kran works over Makdessi with some ground and pound from guard. Kran is looking to work some ground and pound but Makdessi has wrist control. Kran is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Makdessi has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kran is looking to defend but Makdessi has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kran! Makdessi pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kran taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Myles Makdessi! A less than humble Myles Makdessi misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
