Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Reink (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Choel Six (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Choel Six is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Alex Reink! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Choel Six! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reink changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Six looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Six is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Reink's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Six wants to get back to his feet. Reink seems to be looking for submissions.
Reink slows the pace down in half guard. Reink seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Six for as long as he can get away with. Reink wants to pass the guard but Six is defending well. Reink slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Six is looking for a sweep. Reink is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Reink wants to pass to mount but Six is defending the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Alex Reink. Reink shoots in and gets a takedown into Six's guard. Six throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Six can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Reink controls the pace. Six should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Reink's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Reink has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

We're going to have a standup here because Alex Reink wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Six manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Reink on his heels. He'll look to pass Reink's guard now, I'm sure. Six is fighting to break Reink's control of his arms but Reink is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Six wants to control from the top but Reink keeps moving. Six throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Six wants to stand but Reink is controlling his posture from full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Reink holds on and takes a little breather.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Six looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Reink wants to improve his position but Six is controlling well.
Reink is breathing heavily. Six wants to control but Reink is keeping him busy. Six looks to land a strike but Reink avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reink is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Six would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Reink keeping moving, preventing Six from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Choel Six was stalling too much, according to the referee. Reink looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Reink drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Six is pushing Reink's head away, looking to escape. Reink manages to hold on to the position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Six keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Six throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Six pushes Reink up against the cage in a clinch. Six has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Reink uses from the top position. Reink trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Reink advances to half guard. Reink decides to stand and escape the position. Six throws a head kick but Reink moves out of range.

Reink shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Six counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Six closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Reink did well to prevent Six getting side control. Reink tries to get to full guard but Six has control of the leg. Alex Reink overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Six works his way into full mount! Six looking for a guillotine from mount but Reink is having none of it. Six trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reink defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Six. Six tries to control but Reink wriggling away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reink is trying to reverse the position but instead Six has taken his back - oops! Six struggling to keep hold of the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Six looking to break Reink's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Reink remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Six will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Reink trying to control the hands but Six breaks the grip. Six landing with strikes. I really don't envy Reink right now.
Six somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Reink is really stuck here.

Choel Six showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Six gets back to half guard. Reink is looking to advance position but Six won't allow it. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Reink trying to advance position but Six counters by regaining guard. Six wants to sweep but no luck. Reink is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Reink stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Six swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Six lands with a short head shot on the inside. Six pulls guard effortlessly. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Six is trying to control the position but Reink postures up. Six bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Reink's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Choel Six. Well Six has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
