and Black Scholes counters with a one-two to the body.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Black Scholes in particular looking to stall.

Alvarez has hold of Black Scholes's hands but Black Scholes slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Alvarez tries to get to full guard but Black Scholes has control of the leg.
Black Scholes knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Alvarez on the ground.
Alvarez has guillotine here! It looks pretty tight! Could this be all over! No, Black Scholes escapes and passes into side control at the same time. Nice work there by Black Scholes!

Alvarez gets his hands free as Black Scholes looks to control.
Black Scholes is trying to defend against the choke here but Alvarez has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Alvarez Tightens the hold and Black Scholes taps out furiously! Alvarez displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
