The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitezare avoids a kick to the body.

Whitezare throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Free tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Whitezare is in Free's guard.
Whitezare not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Whitezare has managed to clinch.

Whitezare pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Free looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Free feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Whitezare's calf.
Free throws a wild body kick that Whitezare sees coming a mile off.
Free feints and then cracks Whitezare's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Whitezare down.

Whitezare closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Free misses with the body kick
and Whitezare makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Free connects with a solid leg kick.
Free shoots for a double leg takedown but Whitezare sprawls well. He's pushed Free's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Whitezare shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Free's guard.
