Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Phil Solomon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sirzare White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Solomon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sirzare White! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! White bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. White throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. White stands up and beckons Solomon to his feet. White closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Solomon's guard. White landing with the ground and pound. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! White wants to pass the guard but Solomon is keeping the position. White slips nicely into half guard. White seems to be looking for submissions.
Solomon is in trouble now - White has advanced to mount! White unloads with some shots from mount but Solomon bucks and avoids them well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solomon is in all sorts of trouble here.
Solomon might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. White is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Solomon has managed to escape the submission attempt.
White looks winded! White moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Solomon has worked his arm free - good work by Solomon!
White thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. White in side control, throwing shots but Solomon defends.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Solomon sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Solomon is concentrating on defense, preventing White from advancing position. Solomon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. White is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's three minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Solomon wants to get back to full guard. White looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We're going to have a standup here because Phil Solomon wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. White closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Solomon quickly recovers to half guard. White seems to be working for a kimura but Solomon defends the submission attempt. Solomon is controlling White's trapped leg to prevent White from advancing to side control. White seems to be looking for submissions.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solomon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. White is trying to control the action in half guard but Solomon is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. White throwing shots but Solomon is blocking nicely. White wants to pass to mount but Solomon is defending the position. Solomon keeping control of the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Solomon tries to get to full guard but White has control of the leg. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sirzare White dominated that round. That's time! Solomon's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
White decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Solomon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Solomon tries to roll over but White keeps him under control. Solomon is refusing to be controlled, as White sits in half guard. White is working for a kimura but Solomon is defending it quite comfortably.

That's one minute gone in the round. White is trying to work for a kimura but Solomon is defending well.
White is breathing heavily. Solomon is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. White not landing any meaningful shots this time. White seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Solomon does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. White missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Solomon desperately trying to maintain half guard. Solomon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. White is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Solomon defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Solomon has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. White is working away from the top position though. White is just content to waste time from the top position. Solomon takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Solomon is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Solomon has his foot on White's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. White works his way back into a safe position though. White is looking to stand up but Solomon won't let him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White trying to control the position from guard on top but Solomon is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. White throws a strike but Solomon rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. White wants to stand but Solomon is controlling the position. White is looking to stand back up but Solomon counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by White. Solomon looks to score some points with some ground and pound. White keeping hold of Solomon's head, controlling as best he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solomon seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Solomon scoring with strikes to the body and head. Solomon decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. Solomon avoids the head kick by White.

A head kick misses from Solomon. White throws a head kick that misses and Solomon counters by clinching up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Solomon manages to break the clinch.
White drives through with a takedown into Solomon's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Solomon is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Sirzare White will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

White is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Solomon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Solomon has escaped and now he's on top! White is looking to stand up but Solomon isn't so interested in that idea. Solomon distracts White with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. White wants to stand but Solomon is controlling the position. Solomon scoring with some ground and pound. White takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solomon content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Solomon keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of White's head. Solomon scoring with punches to the head and body. Solomon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Solomon is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. White working a defensive guard but Solomon manages to pass into side control anyway.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Solomon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Solomon landing with the ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Solomon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. White is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. White wriggles free and stands up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solomon drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. White wants to stand but Solomon is controlling the position. Sirzare White has got the better of the ground game so far. Solomon gets to his feet - White follows without any prompting. White gets a takedown into half guard. Solomon moves into full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. White working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Solomon is pulling down on White's head. It's preventing any offense from White, at least for the moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hammerfist, elbow! yells White's corner. There ya go! There ya go! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. White scoring with some ground and pound. White wants to stand but Solomon is controlling his posture from full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Phil Solomon. I think White has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
