PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jacob Swastanger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nathan Jason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swastanger comes to the cage accompanied by Spit It Out. On his way into the cage it seems that Jacob Swastanger has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Jacob Swastanger seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jacob Swastanger!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nathan Jason!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jason throws a head kick that Swastanger semi-blocks.
Jason darts in trying to clinch
and Swastanger counters with a nice body kick.
Jason moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Swastanger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jason sprawls well initially but Swastanger persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Swastanger uses his free foot to push down on Jason's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Jason.

Swastanger working for a submission but Jason is keeping him at bay.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Swastanger jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jason manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Swastanger has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Jason is pawing at Swastanger, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Swastanger's nose. Swastanger is badly hurt! Jason pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Swastanger tries desperately to hold on but Jason is relentless in his assault! As Swastanger receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Jason away and this one is in the books!
