The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chambers on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Chambers checks a low kick from Svensen.
Svensen throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Donk. Svensen catches Chambers right on the button with a cross.
Svensen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Chambers!
Chambers tries to bench press Svensen off him but Svensen keeps the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Chambers's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Svensen lands a decent elbow from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Svensen swings around for an armbar but Chambers sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Svensen's guard.
Svensen is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Svensen closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh but Chambers is tightening it up a little... Svensen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Svensen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Svensen taps out! Nice BJJ there by Chambers!
