Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Juan Fernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyron Marshall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyron Marshall looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Juan Fernandez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyron Marshall! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marshall tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fernandez paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fernandez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Excellent takedown into side control there by Marshall. Fernandez manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Marshall is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Marshall tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Marshall with the ground and pound but Fernandez uses the opportunity to regain guard. Fernandez lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Marshall! Fernandez controlling the pace for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez trying to control but he's not successful this time. Fernandez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fernandez has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Marshall's face.
Fernandez unloads with some shots from mount but Marshall bucks and avoids them well.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Fernandez cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Marshall is in a horrible position here. Fernandez smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Marshall is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Fernandez takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fernandez has hold of Marshall's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Marshall manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Fernandez with a couple of short strikes. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fernandez tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juan Fernandez dominated that round. That's time! Fernandez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Fernandez shoots in and drives through. Marshall sprawls well. Marshall tries to clinch there but Fernandez circles away.
Horrible takedown by Fernandez or perhaps it was just good defense by Marshall which made him look bad. Marshall misses with a jab, cross combination.
A left and a right from Marshall both land. Nice combination. The fight stays on the outside here - Marshall looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Marshall looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Fernandez keeps the fight on the outside. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Fernandez has taken the fight to the clinch.

Marshall breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Marshall fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fernandez, pushing him back against the cage. Marshall fails to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fernandez avoiding damage as Marshall throws knees to the body.
Fernandez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Marshall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Juan Fernandez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Marshall breaks from the clinch.
Marshall tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Fernandez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Fernandez closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Marshall's guard. Marshall is breathing heavily. Marshall wants to stand and escape but Fernandez is having none of it. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fernandez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Marshall working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fernandez. Fernandez trying to control but Marshall is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fernandez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marshall swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fernandez controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Marshall darts in and clinches Fernandez up against the cage. A battle for position here, against the cage. Marshall throws an elbow that misses.
Fernandez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Marshall gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Marshall throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Marshall just stands there and leans against the cage. Marshall tries to land knees in the clinch but Fernandez avoids the damage to the body. Fernandez is trying to push Marshall away but Marshall has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fernandez jumps guard but Marshall turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Marshall lands an elbow that stopped Fernandez in his tracks for a moment. Marshall avoiding damage.
Marshall creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Marshall looking to throw knees to the head but Fernandez is blocking nicely.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Marshall gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Fernandez.
Marshall misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Fernandez.
Fernandez stalling in the clinch but Marshall improves position. Fernandez is trying to push Marshall away but Marshall has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Marshall throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Tyron Marshall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Juan Fernandez's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Marshall's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Marshall shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fernandez counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Marshall's guard now. Fernandez engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Marshall takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Fernandez slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall is being controlled here. Marshall is looking to get back to his feet here but Fernandez is keeping cool and he's managed to take Marshall's back. Fernandez has Marshall flattened out and is raining down punches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marshall defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Fernandez's arms. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Marshall has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Fernandez has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Marshall! Can he survive? No! He's out! Fernandez gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
