The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balise To shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Mathis counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Mathis.
Mathis is standing up over Balise To. Balise To looks to escape but Mathis dives into side control.
Balise To is trying to buck Mathis off.
Mathis will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Balise To is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
