And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balingit connects with a looping right hand.

It looks like Jack Yu has been cut.
Balingit has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Balingit throws a body punch but Yu moves out of range.
Yu misses with an uppercut.

Balingit gets in close and instigates a clinch.
A right handed body shot lands from Balingit.
Yu lands a nice uppercut.
Yu blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Balingit tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Yu avoids it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Yu told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Yu lands a hook to the side of the head.
Nice body punch from Balingit - that landed with a thud.
Yu throws a head punch that misses.
Balingit can't find room to land a body shot as Yu controls the action.
Yu swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Yu breaks from the clinch.
Yu tries to work over Balingit's front leg with a kick but Balingit checks it.
Yu takes a swing at Balingit's ribcage but misses.
Yu throws a hook to the side of Balingit's head but Balingit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jack Yu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Balingit steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Yu.
A combination from Yu does no damage.

Yu throws a left and a right that both miss

and Balingit counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Balingit drops Yu with a big knee straight up the middle! Yu is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Balingit lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!

Ej Balingit really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Mango Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
