The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Preston throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Preston has been working on his boxing with his coaches at THE FIGHT FOUNDRY in the buildup to the fight.
Jones connects with a right hand. Preston shakes it off.

It looks like Jacob Preston has been cut.
Preston throws a series of punches but Jones avoids them all with ease.
Preston misses with the combination.
Jones dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Preston. That did some damage!

Jones cracks Preston with an uppercut from hell and Preston crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Jones's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
This has been an exciting period of action!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Jones scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Preston is rocked!
Jones arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Preston's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
