Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 24 - 0, fighting out of London, Oliver Oxenfrei! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Sang Eek Moon! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moon checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. A shot to the body from Oxenfrei misses so Moon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Oxenfrei is trying to keep Moon in close.
Moon trying to control the position from guard on top but Oxenfrei is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Oxenfrei wants to control but Moon passes easily into half guard.
Moon is thwarting Oxenfrei's attempts to control the position. Oxenfrei wants to get back to full guard. Moon thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Oxenfrei's head. Oxenfrei has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moon is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moon stalling. Oxenfrei wants to get back to full guard. My spies in London MMA Fight Academy inform me that Moon has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moon is thwarting Oxenfrei's attempts to control the position. Oxenfrei is looking to regain full guard. We're going to have a standup here because Oliver Oxenfrei wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jab from Oxenfrei. Oxenfrei fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Oxenfrei rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Oxenfrei finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Moon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Oxenfrei. That did some damage! A big left from Oxenfrei misses. Nice cross by Moon. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Oxenfrei misses with a straight right. Oxenfrei rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Moon counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Oxenfrei's guard now. Oxenfrei can't keep his opponent in guard - Moon advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Oxenfrei wants to control but Moon is keeping busy.
Oxenfrei is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Well, if Moon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Oxenfrei knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moon on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oxenfrei has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Moon is working away from the top position though. Moon is looking to take a break and control but Oxenfrei is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sang Eek Moon was stalling too much, according to the referee. Oxenfrei throws a hook to the side of Moon's head but Moon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Oxenfrei bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Moon's head. Oxenfrei misses with an uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moon stuns Oxenfrei with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Moon dodges the punch combination from Oxenfrei.
Oliver Oxenfrei seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Moon scores with a slapping inside leg kick. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Oxenfrei throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Oxenfrei misses with a hook. Moon ducked under it nicely. Oxenfrei has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Moon finds it's way round the side to connect with Oxenfrei's head. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Moon.
Oxenfrei looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Oxenfrei pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Oliver Oxenfrei is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Oxenfrei fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moon manages to avoid it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Oxenfrei misses with a double jab
and Moon counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moon. Moon passes easily into side control. Nice work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Moon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Moon not landing any meaningful shots this time. Moon moves into full mount! Oxenfrei won't be happy about that! Oxenfrei tries to hold on but Moon postures up. Oxenfrei holds of for dear life.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Oxenfrei is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Moon tries to control but Oxenfrei wriggling away. Moon looking to finish with strikes here!

We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Oxenfrei tries to get out of the position. Moon misses with a head shot. Oxenfrei is looking to get to half guard. and Moon counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. This has been an exciting period of action! Moon stands and throws Oxenfrei's legs to the side, diving into side control. Moon wants to control but Oxenfrei is keeping him busy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Oxenfrei avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Moon. Moon throwing shots but missing, from side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sang Eek Moon showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Oxenfrei is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Moon is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. An elbow from Moon crashes against the mat.

Moon is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Oxenfrei's shoulder. That is not cool. Oxenfrei prevents Moon from moving into mount. Moon in side control, throwing shots but Oxenfrei defends. Oxenfrei is not content to let Moon control the position. Oxenfrei struggling a bit here. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Oxenfrei tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.

Oxenfrei avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Moon. Moon is trying to control. Oxenfrei wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Sang Eek Moon is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Moon controls the position. Oxenfrei is trying to work for a sweep but Moon has mounted him! Moon takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Oxenfrei tries to lock up and control but Moon gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Let's hope that Moon has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Oxenfrei wants to hold on but Moon pushes him away. Oliver Oxenfrei has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Moon controlling from mount.
And that's the end of the fight! Sang Eek Moon comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Moon winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
