Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bj Becks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Kincade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kincade has chosen Good Rats as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bj Becks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rory Kincade! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Becks ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Becks throws a low kick but Kincade moves out of range easily. Kincade blocks a leg kick. Kincade throws a low kick, looking for Becks's leg but Becks calmly moves out of range. Kincade lands with a shot to the body. Nice straight punches there by Becks. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Becks. Kincade takes a swing at Becks's ribcage but misses. Becks swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kincade lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Becks falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kincade counters with a slapping leg kick. Becks checks a low kick from Kincade. Kincade scores with a jab to the jaw. Kincade feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Beckss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Kincade throws a solid leg kick but Becks takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kincade. Becks throws a leg kick but Kincade moved away. Kincade bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Becks takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Kincade scores with a jab to the head.
Kincade fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Becks has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Becks is looking to chop away at Kincade's legs. Kincade checks a leg kick nicely. Becks misses with the combination.
Kincade misses with an uppercut. Becks misses the shot to the body. Becks tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kincade was well out of range. Poor timing from Becks. Becks ducks under a wild hook from Kincade. Becks has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Kincade lands a right hook to the body.
Kincade misses with a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Becks bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kincade wants to control but Becks postures up. Kincade is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Becks wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kincade, who protects the arm well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kincade tries to improve position but can't. Kincade struggling a bit here. Kincade controls the position for a moment. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Becks is trying to get an arm triangle but Kincade is defending well. Kincade looks to move to half guard but instead Becks has passed into mount! Damn! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Becks is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Kincade has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Becks trying to control but he's not successful this time. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Becks is really struggling to control Kincade but he's trying to hold on to the position. Becks prevents Kincade from getting the reversal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Becks trying to control but Kincade is having none of it. Becks landing strikes from the mount. Becks is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Kincade has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Kincade! Becks wants to stand up but Kincade is controlling him. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Becks striking off his back but it's not causing Kincade any problems. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bj Becks will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Kincade darts in looking for a takedown but Becks gets double underhooks and turns Kincade into the cage. Kincade tries to pull guard but Becks won't allow it.
Kincade swings wildly with an uppercut but Becks uses good head movement to avoid it. Kincade is trying to break free. Kincade manages to break the clinch.
Becks misses with the body kick and Kincade counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Becks tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Kincade is able to avoid easily. Becks connects with a crisp jab. Becks tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kincade throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nice shot lands for Becks. Kincade slips a straight right by Becks. Becks looks to land a combination but Kincade avoids it well. Kincade throws a nice inside leg kick. Kincade scoring well with a low kick there.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Becks. A good leg kick by Kincade.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kincade takes a swing at Becks's ribcage but misses. Kincade uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Becks. Kincade on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Kincade shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Becks's guard. Becks will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kincade passes easily into side control. Nice work. Becks is not content to let Kincade control the position. Kincade tries to advance to mount but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Becks struggling a bit here. Becks tries to improve position but can't. Kincade is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Becks is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Becks dodges the ground and pound from Kincade. Kincade is trying to land an Americana. You can see the frustration on Becks's face as Kincade controls the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The ground and pound from Kincade seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Sloppy strikes there by Kincade. Kincade in side control, throwing shots but Becks defends. Becks manages to get back to half guard. Kincade tries to pass the half guard into mount. Becks knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kincade. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man. Becks trying to hold on to Kincade's head to control him but Kincade postures up.
Kincade thows a huge punch but Becks dodges it nicely.
My spies in Full Affliction Fight Team inform me that Kincade has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
