Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Taprishi Ftyren (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ftyren comes into the arena with Unikkatil - Shota blaring out of the sound system. The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Lupang Hinirang-ABS-CBN Stars. 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jon Jones! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones shoots in and bounces Ftyren off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Ftyren is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Jones has his hands clasped together but Ftyren extends and breaks Jones's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Ftyren.
