Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tic Tac! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hugh Janus! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Janus tries to clinch but Tac is having none of it. Tac tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Janus paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tac drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Janus stuffs the takedown. Janus darts in and clinches Tac up against the cage. Janus lands a nice knee to the body. Tac is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Janus gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Tac drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tic Tac. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Janus obliges. Tac changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Janus fights it off and pushes away nicely.
We've been told by Tac's head coaches at Kick In The Nutz Gym (14 Elite Coaches, Low Cap) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Janus has managed to clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Tac misses with a hook from the clinch. Janus landing some nice looking knees to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round. Janus stalls. Janus lands a nice knee to the body. Janus prevents a takedown attempt there.

Tac throws an elbow but it misses.
Tac misses with a hook from the clinch. Janus with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Tac is rocked! Tac takes a knee right on the jaw!
Oh Tac is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tac is looking to take this one to the mat. Janus stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Janus jerks Tac's head down, straight into the path of a devastating knee! Tac drops to the floor in a crumpled heap! Janus goes to throw a finishing haymaker but pulls out - good sportsmanship from Janus because Tac was completely out of it. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knee). Hugh Janus! Hugh Janus was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
