Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Baby Jay Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marion Mex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Baby Jay Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Marion Mex! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fisher moves into the clinch successfully.
Mex escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mex looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Fisher fails in his attempt to clinch. Mex misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fisher gets a clinch. Mex is trying to pull guard but Fisher turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Mex displaying some good clinch control by pressing Fisher up against the cage. Mex jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Fisher walks away with a smile on his face. Mex gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Baby Jay Fisher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marion Mex. A head kick misses from Fisher. Fisher throws a leg kick but Mex sees it coming and checks it nicely. The fight moves into the clinch position. Fisher fails to pull guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mex gets underhooks to prevent Fisher's takedown attempt.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Mex throws a big right hand that misses. Mex must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fisher working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Mex. Fisher trying to keep a closed guard but Mex is proving a slippery customer.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Mex has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Mex has a couple of punches blocked by Fisher.

Fisher is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mex to keep the fight standing. Fisher takes an elbow to the forehead. Fisher is trying to drag Mex to the mat but Mex just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Fisher tries to break free but Mex pushes him back against the cage. Fisher trying to control the position but instead, Mex has worked for underhooks and has pushed Fisher into the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Mex - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mex manages to break the clinch.
Fisher wants to land a leg kick but Mex is out of range. Mex tries for a takedown but Fisher circles away easily and Fisher counters with a low kick, right behind Mex 's knee. Mex checks a leg kick nicely. Nice takedown defense from Fisher. No joy for Mex on that attempt. Mex is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fisher wants to clinch and Mex counters with a nice uppercut. Fisher connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Mex's hands.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mex dives in and grabs Fisher's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fisher pushes down on Mex's head and hops out. Mex is looking to clinch. Fisher fails with a takedown attempt. Fisher moves into the clinch successfully.

Fisher is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Mex pulls him back up using the underhooks. Fisher tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mex smiles and moves away.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mex misses with a takedown and Fisher counters with a nice double leg into side control. Mex won't be happy with that. Fisher is breathing heavily. Fisher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mex keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Baby Jay Fisher dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fisher wants to clinch up but Mex keeps it at a distance. Fisher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Mex swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mex goes for a double leg but Fisher avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Fisher continues to drive forward. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Mex as Fisher tries to tie him up. Mex has had enough of the clinch but Fisher keeps him there for the moment. Mex tries to pull guard but Fisher holds him up against the cage and eventually Mex drops back down to his feet.

Mex throws a sloppy head kick and Fisher moves out of range easily. Mex shoots in for a takedown but Fisher shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Baby Jay Fisher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marion Mex. Horrible takedown by Fisher or perhaps it was just good defense by Mex which made him look bad.

Mex is breathing heavily. Fisher tries to clinch up. Fisher tries to close the distance and clinch but Mex swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fisher tries to clinch up but Mex circles away and keeps his distance. Mex throws a head kick that misses. Fisher swats away the attempt to clinch by Mex. Fisher lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Fisher connects with a body shot that sends Mex's belly button to the back. Mex avoids the head kick by Fisher.
Mex doesn't succeed with the takedown and Fisher counters by clinching up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mex tries to pull guard but Fisher won't allow it.
Fisher wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mex has him pressed against the cage. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Fisher blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Fisher has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Mex is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mex breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Fisher lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mex backs up against the cage.
It looks like Marion Mex has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Fisher clinches with his opponent.

Mex on the wrong end of a nice jab. Fisher is looking to clinch. Fisher tries a low kick but Mex avoids it. Mex misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Fisher tries a head kick but it misses.

Mex circles away from the clinch attempt and Mex counters with a slapping leg kick. Mex tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fisher paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fisher moves into the clinch successfully.

Fisher ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Mex takes a shot right to the bread basket. Fisher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mex is fending him off so far but Fisher persists. Nope, Mex circles away and we're back to standing. Mex misses the shot to the body. Nice takedown defense from Mex. No joy for Fisher on that attempt. Fisher defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Mex. Mex tries to clinch but fails miserably and Fisher counters with a nice double leg into guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fisher trying to control the position from guard on top but Mex is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fisher working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mex looking for a guillotine here but Fisher defends easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mex tries to land a sweep but no joy. Fisher works a leg free and moves into half guard. Mex is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fisher is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mex really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fisher. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fisher is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Fisher seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Mex for as long as he can get away with. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Fisher connects with a nice short shot to Mex's temple. Fisher perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Baby Jay Fisher just wasn't active enough. Mex swats away the attempt to clinch by Fisher. Fisher darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
