The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carson lands a nice shot to the body.
Murphy stuns Carson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
A head kick from Murphy lands but Carson takes it in his stride.
It looks like Glenn Carson has been cut.
Carson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Murphy. Murphy obviously looking to wear him down.
Murphy tries to clinch up but Carson circles away and keeps his distance.

Carson closes the distance and clinches up with Murphy, looking for a takedown. Carson pushes Murphy against the cage but Murphy circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

I was talking to Carson's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Carson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Carson wants to control but Murphy is keeping him busy.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Carson has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Murphy finds it's way round the side to connect with Carson's head.

Murphy goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Murphy is fighting off a takedown attempt but Carson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Murphy to the mat. Murphy regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Murphy is on top in guard.

Carson looking for a triangle here. Murphy is fighting it but it looks tight! Carson pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Murphy is tapping out - this one is all over!
