Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rick Fist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Selleck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rick Fist! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dom Selleck! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fist looks for a takedown but Selleck sprawls well. Selleck misses with a low kick.
Selleck fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Selleck shoots and misses and Fist counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Selleck clinches but Fist breaks the clinch and Fist counters with a slapping leg kick. Selleck looks to clinch and Fist counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Selleck is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Fist content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Selleck is looking for a sweep. Fist is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fist is looking to advance position but Selleck won't allow it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Fist is keen to just control but Selleck is a slippery customer. Selleck looks like he's trying to stand up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Fist wants to control but Selleck is keeping him busy. Fist is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Selleck is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Selleck gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fist counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rick Fist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dom Selleck. Selleck throws an elbow but it misses.
Fist gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Selleck.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fist is working for takedown but Selleck is calmly controlling the position for now. Selleck tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Selleck is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Fist gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Selleck gets underhooks to prevent Fist's takedown attempt.
Fist is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though. Selleck throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Selleck pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Selleck tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fist swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Selleck bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fist tries to get back to half guard but can't. Selleck wants to stand but Fist has his arm trapped. Selleck looks gassed! The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Selleck tries to stand but Fist controls the position and pulls Selleck into his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Fist dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Fist swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Selleck throws a sloppy body shot
and Fist counters with a good low kick that Selleck was not able to check. Fist fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Fist has a takedown stuffed. Selleck shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Fist counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Selleck is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Selleck pulls Fist in close to his closed guard and prevents Fist from doing any damage or advancing position. Selleck is breathing heavily. Selleck looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Fist puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Fist sitting and controlling from the half guard. Selleck tries to get to full guard but Fist has control of the leg.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Fist looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Fist trying to mount his opponent but Selleck defends it. Selleck looking for a kimura from the bottom but Fist passes into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Selleck wants to control but Fist postures up. Selleck is looking to regain half guard here but Fist keeps moving and retains side control. Fist trying to control the position but Selleck is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. You can see the frustration on Selleck's face as Fist controls the position. Selleck is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Selleck is letting Fist control him for a moment. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Selleck can't do much from the bottom here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rick Fist dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Selleck fails with the takedown. Selleck looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Selleck misses with a takedown attempt - Fist sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Rick Fist has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dom Selleck. Selleck wants to slow Fist down by chopping away at his legs. Selleck takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fist fails with the takedown. Selleck with a lazy takedown attempt and Fist counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Fist.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fist trying to control the position from guard on top but Selleck is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Selleck wants to improve his position but instead Fist has moved into half guard.
Fist is looking to take a break and control but Selleck is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Fist works his way into full mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Fist controlling from mount. Selleck has given up his back here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fist is hanging on to Selleck's back as he tries to escape.
Fist not allowing Selleck to control his hands. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Fist just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
Selleck wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Fist really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Selleck. I really don't envy Selleck right now.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fist wants to control but Selleck is keeping busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Rick Fist showed his dominance in that final round. Well Fist has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
