Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jean Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dustin Long (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dustin Long will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean Conrad! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dustin Long! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Long wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Conrad drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Long is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Conrad landing strikes. Conrad tries to stand but Long is controlling his head. Long is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Conrad asserts his dominance and retains side control. Conrad wants to control but Long is keeping him busy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Long trying to remain calm as Conrad controls from the top position. Conrad wants to lay and pray for a moment but Long keeps working. Conrad is trying to get an arm triangle but Long is defending well. Conrad wants to control but Long is keeping him busy. Long pushes Conrad away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Conrad gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Long is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Conrad defends it well. That was a close round but I would say that Jean Conrad will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Conrad throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Long. Conrad could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Conrad circles away from the clinch attempt and Conrad holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Long pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Long closes the distance and lands a one-two. Conrad tries a head kick but it misses.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Long is defending against the submission attempts here by Conrad.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Long is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Conrad thows a huge punch but Long dodges it nicely.
Long tries to kick Conrad off in order to stand up. Conrad Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Long is not content to let Conrad control the position. Long is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Conrad has just dragged him back down to the mat.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Long parries the strikes from Conrad easily there. Conrad is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Long to escape.

Long's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conrad looking to control but Long is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Long tries to buck Conrad off but he can't manage it. Conrad controlling his opponent. Conrad throws some wild stikes that Long manages to avoid easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Conrad sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Long wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dustin Long showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Long tries to clinch but Conrad moves out of range. Long tries to close the distance and clinch up but Conrad swats him away and circles back towards the center. Long misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Conrad keeps the fight on the outside. Conrad avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
No joy there for Conrad, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Conrad is looking to take a break and control but Long is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. The referee asks Conrad politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Conrad prefers to stall for the moment though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conrad throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Conrad creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Long sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Conrad is looking to take a break and control but Long is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Long tries to escape but Conrad is in control. Long is letting Conrad control him for a moment. Long tries to escape but Conrad is in control. Long takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Long is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Conrad is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Long will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Jean Conrad. Long tries to clinch but fails miserably and Conrad counters by moving into the clinch. Long tries to break the clinch but Conrad is controlling the position. Conrad tries for a takedown. No joy.
Long is trying to push Conrad away but Conrad has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Conrad turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Conrad manages to end up in side control. Conrad misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Long being controlled for a moment. Long is trying to buck Conrad off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conrad staying calm. Long is not content to let Conrad control the position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Long tries to escape but Conrad is in control.
And that's the end of the fight! Jean Conrad showed his dominance in that final round. I think Conrad has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
