Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nich DiM!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Pit Bull!
The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DiM shoots in for a takedown but Bull shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Bull misses with a body kick.
DiM closes the distance and clinches up with Bull, looking for a takedown. DiM pushes Bull against the ropes but Bull circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
DiM tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Bull paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A combination from Bull does no damage.
Bull bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of DiM's head.
DiM shoots in and gets a takedown into Bull's guard.
Bull is looking to stand up but DiM isn't so interested in that idea.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
DiM makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

DiM stands and throws Bull's legs to the side, diving into side control.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

DiM is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bull has escaped the position, nice work there.

DiM moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.
DiM has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Bull has left one of his arms exposed and DiM doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Bull screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
