Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Carter Macki!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jorge Garcia and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macki shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Charles pinned against the cage. Charles gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Charles moves into the clinch.
Macki is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Charles to keep the fight standing.
The referee calls for Charles to work.
Macki is trying to maintain a safe position but Charles gets an underhook and turns Macki into the cage.
Charles tries to work over Macki's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Charles is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Charles escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Macki shoots in and bounces Charles off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Charles might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Macki thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Charles is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Macki is controlling him.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Macki is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Charles looks like he's trying to stand up.

Macki is trying to control the action in half guard but Charles is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Macki thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Charles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Macki is working away from the top position though.

Charles knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Macki on the ground.
Macki maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Charles could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Macki has cracked it and Charles is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Macki!
