Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Franky Train!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Eddy Robinson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Paulsen Ambrosius.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Train as he avoids it easily.

Robinson gets tackled into the cage by Train. Train maintains the clinch.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Train.
Robinson is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Train gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
Robinson is trying to drag Train to the mat but Train just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Franky Train has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eddy Robinson.

Robinson gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Train regains guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Robinson prevents Train from getting back to his feet.
Robinson wants to pass the guard but Train is keeping the position.

Robinson drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Train dives on top into guard.
Train wants to stand but Robinson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Robinson has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Train can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Train would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Robinson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Train doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Train manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Robinson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Train wanted to stand there but Robinson had control of the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Train has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Robinson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Train is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Robinson pulls down on the head and he's put Train to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Eddy Robinson!
