Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Reuben Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Len (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Len has chosen blackskinhead as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reuben Tanner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, King Len! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tanner moves out of range of the body kick from Len.
Tanner closes the distance and clinches up with Len, looking for a takedown. Tanner pushes Len against the cage but Len circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Len has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Tanner leaves Len with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A head kick misses from Len. Len stuffs the takedown attempt from Tanner. Tanner gets slowly back to his feet. Tanner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Len as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reuben Tanner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tanner fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Len avoids it really well and circles away. Len doesn't manage to clinch there - Tanner circles away.
Len throws a lazy head kick and Tanner counters with a nice leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Len looks to clinch and Tanner counters with a lovely straight right hand! Tanner dodges the punch combination from Len.
Len shoots in for a takedown but Tanner shows good takedown defense. Good leg kick by Tanner there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Len looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Tanner fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Tanner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Len but Len pushes him off and we're back to square one. Tanner shoots in looking for a takedown but Len manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tanner's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Len doesn't manage to clinch there - Tanner circles away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tanner misses with a takedown so Len counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Tanner is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Len trying to control the position from guard on top but Tanner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Len trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Tanner throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Tanner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Len slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Tanner. The fighters are battling for position here. Tanner manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Len must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Len stands up and waves to Tanner to follow him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Len wants to slow Tanner down by chopping away at his legs. Tanner could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Len goes for a double leg but Tanner avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Tanner continues to drive forward. Tanner pulls guard. Tanner keeping moving, preventing Len from controlling successfully. Tanner is looking for a triangle but Len pushes his legs off easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tanner working a defensive guard here.
Tanner had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Len defends it easily. Tanner trying to control the position here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Len wants to stand but Tanner has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but King Len will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Tanner closes the distance and clinches. Len is trying to break free. Tanner tries for a takedown. No joy.
Len looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Len is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Come on Tanner - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Len throws a knee to the head but misses.
Tanner scores with a nice hook to the head. Len tries to break free but Tanner pushes him back against the cage. Len stalls. Tanner is trying to pull guard but Len has him pressed against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tanner pulls guard. Tanner trying to keep a closed guard but Len is proving a slippery customer.
Len lands a couple of decent looking shots. Len is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Len pushes down on Tanner's leg and manages to get into half guard. Len is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tanner trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Tanner gets back to half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Len connects with a nice short shot to Tanner's temple. Len is thwarting Tanner's attempts to control the position. Len content to control rather than advance. Len is looking to stall here but Tanner recovers full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tanner is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tanner has his foot on Len's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Len works his way back into a safe position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tanner is pulling down on Len's head to control his posture. Tanner wants to improve his position but instead Len has moved into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Len content to control rather than advance. Tanner trying to control from the bottom.
Tanner wants to get back to his feet.
Len missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Len tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tanner knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Tanner works his way to full guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Reuben Tanner will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Len tries to keep at a distance but Tanner has taken the fight into the clinch. Tanner jumps into guard, dragging Len to the mat.
Tanner trying to control the position here. Len slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Tanner manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Poor strikes thrown by Tanner there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Len is looking to improve his position but Tanner isn't that keen on the idea. Len takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Tanner fails to take his opponent's back. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Len can do anything to dispel that myth. Tanner looking to finish with strikes here!
Tanner fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Tanner sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Tanner looking to ground and pound but Len is blocking nicely. Len is looking to improve his position but Tanner isn't that keen on the idea. Tanner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Tanner thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Tanner thowing shots but they're missing. Len is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Len wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Tanner.
Tanner stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. Tanner dives in for a single leg takedown but Len sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Tanner breaks from the clinch.
Len keeps the fight on the outside. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tanner is defended easily by Len. Tanner rushes Len and presses him up against the cage. Tanner prevents Len from breaking the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tanner tries to pull guard but Len won't allow it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Reuben Tanner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Tanner drags the fight down to the ground.
Len wants to stand but Tanner is controlling his posture from full guard. Len tries to free his leg and advance position but Tanner is retaining full guard. Tanner controlling Len's posture.
And that's the end of the fight! Reuben Tanner showed his dominance in that final round. Well Tanner has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
