Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mathieu Dominick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Pyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pyle comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Bate Pesadão kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mathieu Dominick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jimmy Pyle! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dominick fails to land with a series of punches.
Dominick throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Pyle drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Dominick throws an off balance right hand
and Pyle counters with a single leg into guard. Dominick didn't expect that. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Dominick holds on and takes a little breather. Dominick looking to hit a scissor sweep but Pyle is one step ahead there. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pyle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Pyle drops back looking for a leg! Dominick is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Dominick manages to kick Pyle off! Pyle jumps back into Dominick's guard. Dominick is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pyle is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pyle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Pyle is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Dominick working a defensive guard here.
Pyle postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Dominick is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Pyle, into his guard. Dominick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pyle on the ground. Dominick wants to stand but Pyle is controlling his posture from full guard.

Pyle is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Pyle looks winded! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Pyle had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Dominick defends it easily.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Dominick trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pyle looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Dominick controls from within his opponent's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Pyle keeping moving, preventing Dominick from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pyle is looking to cinch up a triangle. Dominick throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Pyle's body to avoid the submission. Pyle has instead reached around Dominick's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Pyle arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
