The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Delivire throws a front kick that sends Aliwad stumbling back into the cage.
Delivire dives in for a single leg takedown but Aliwad sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Delivire lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Ali Aliwad has been cut.
Aliwad is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Delivire has Aliwad pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Delivire pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Aliwad tumbling to the mat - Delivire dives into Aliwad's guard.

Aliwad stuffs the takedown attempt from Delivire. Delivire gets slowly back to his feet.

Delivire has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Aliwad avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Aliwad wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Delivire gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Delivire thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Aliwad is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Delivire rolls with it to try and escape but Aliwad cranks on the arm and Delivire is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
