Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kane Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Raynalds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the cage accompanied by Insomnia Bass by Ryan James. The crowd seem to be enjoying Raynalds's choice of entrance music: Survival. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kane Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, John Raynalds! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Harris is trying hard to land a takedown here. Raynalds sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Raynalds looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Raynalds stuffs the takedown. Raynalds throws a low kick, looking for Harris's leg but Harris calmly moves out of range. Harris checks a leg kick nicely. Raynalds scores with a slapping inside leg kick. John Raynalds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Good work by Harris as he checks the leg kick. Raynalds throws a solid leg kick but Harris takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Raynalds. Harris forces Raynalds back against the cage and clinches. Harris working hard to break the clinch. Harris manages to pull guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Raynalds is looking to stand up but Harris won't let him. Harris seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Harris bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Raynalds's guard. Harris slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Harris is pushing down on Raynalds's leg trying to pass to half guard. Raynalds is fighting to maintain full guard but Harris has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris tries to pass to full mount but Raynalds defends it. Harris postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Raynalds to stand up. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Raynalds lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Harris has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Harris and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. The fight moves into the clinch position. Harris lands a nice uppercut. Harris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A bone on bone clash there as Harris blocks the leg kick.
Harris pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Raynalds back to the cage. Harris follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. Danga de danga de dang - Harris scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like John Raynalds has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! Harris lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Raynalds at a distance.
Harris pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Harris closes the distance and clinches. Harris is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Raynalds pulls him back up using the underhooks. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris jumps guard and drags Raynalds to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Harris is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Raynalds wants to stand but Harris has a closed guard, so he can't escape. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Harris is on top in guard.
Harris is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris works a leg free and moves into half guard. Harris missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Raynalds wants to stand back up but Harris manages to pass into side control.
Raynalds is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Harris thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Raynalds seems a little lost for a moment, as Harris dominates the positioning. Harris tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Harris in side control, throwing shots but Raynalds defends. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. Raynalds really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Harris. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Harris has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Raynalds! Harris punching from mount but Raynalds doing a good job of avoiding damage. Raynalds's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Harris lands a couple of good shots and Raynalds has given up his back, trying to escape the position! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Harris misses with punches from the back. Harris slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kane Harris dominated that round. The cut man is working on John Raynalds's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Harris moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The fight moves into the clinch position. Raynalds tries to break the clinch but Harris is controlling the position. Harris tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Harris tries to score a body lock takedown but Raynalds shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Raynalds can't get the takedown.
Harris looking for a takedown. Raynalds is breathing heavily. Harris has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Harris goes for a takedown attempt but Raynalds pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harris looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris looks for a takedown but Raynalds sprawls well. Harris checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Harris lands with a right hand. Harris bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Raynalds's head. Raynalds gets tackled into the cage by Harris. Harris maintains the clinch. A head punch on the inside from Raynalds fails to land. A frustrated look appears on Raynalds's face as he tries to break the clinch. Harris pulls guard successfully.
Harris has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Harris pulls Raynalds in to control the position. Kane Harris overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Raynalds trying to stand up but can't free himself from Harris's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Raynalds can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Raynalds wants to stand but Harris has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Harris wants to sweep here but Raynalds controlling him for the moment. Raynalds avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Raynalds wants to stand but Harris is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Raynalds got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Raynalds has managed to get both his arms back between Harris's legs - danger averted. Raynalds tries to stand but Harris is controlling from the bottom. Harris trying to keep a closed guard but Raynalds is proving a slippery customer.
Raynalds would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Harris is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Raynalds has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Harris is proving hard to escape from. Harris trying to keep a closed guard but Raynalds is proving a slippery customer.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris wants to sweep but no luck. Raynalds is looking to stand up but Harris won't let him. Harris lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Raynalds! Raynalds tries to buck Harris off but he can't manage it. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Harris controlling from mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Well, if Harris is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Kane Harris has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Harris shoots in for a takedown but Raynalds shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Harris has a takedown stuffed. Harris looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Raynalds is fending him off so far but Harris persists. Nope, Raynalds circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Raynalds fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Harris.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris shoots for a double leg takedown but Raynalds sprawls well. He's pushed Harris's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Harris is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Raynalds throws a leg kick which misses Harris's front leg but catches the back leg as Harris tries to avoid it. Harris has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Raynalds. An inside leg kick lands from Raynalds. No luck for Harris with that takedown attempt. Raynalds scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Harris fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Raynalds moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Raynalds with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Raynalds misses with a low kick. Harris checks a leg kick nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raynalds does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Harris has Raynalds up against the cage in a clinch.

Harris pulls guard effortlessly. Harris manages to escape and get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Raynalds tries a low kick but Harris avoids it. Raynalds buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Raynalds throws a low kick, looking for Harris's leg but Harris calmly moves out of range. Harris will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Harris keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Harris closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. John Raynalds has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kane Harris is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Harris avoids a wild elbow strike from Raynalds.
And that's the end of the fight! Kane Harris showed his dominance in that final round. Well Harris has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
