Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pew shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Benson sprawls well. Benson wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pew gets slowly back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pew.
Benson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Benson wants it to stay on the feet.
Jacinto Benson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pew Pew.

Pew is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Pew drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Benson gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Benson turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Benson manages to end up in side control.
Pew tries to bench press Benson off him but Benson keeps the position.
Benson fails to land a wild elbow strike.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pew managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Benson.
Pew is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Benson off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pew goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Benson escapes and is now in half guard on top.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Pew drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Pew is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Benson is defending well.
Benson is pressed up against the cage. Pew has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Benson down to the mat. Benson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Benson wants to land a leg kick but Pew is out of range.
Pew misses with a takedown attempt - Benson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Benson manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Pew is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Benson pulls his head out easily.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
