Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Gaudencio Roman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sheldon Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sheldon Cooper! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Roman shoots in looking for a takedown. Cooper tries to sprawl out of it but Roman keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Cooper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Roman lands with a slapping head kick. No luck for Cooper with that takedown attempt. Cooper misses with a head kick.
Cooper shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Roman sprawls well. Roman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cooper gets slowly back to his feet. Cooper closes the distance and clinches up with Roman, looking for a takedown. Cooper pushes Roman against the cage but Roman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gaudencio Roman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sheldon Cooper. Roman feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Coopers jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Roman shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Roman is looking to land body kicks. Cooper tries to clinch up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roman takes the fight into the clinch. Cooper is looking to take this one to the mat. Roman gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cooper is staying active underneath Roman, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Ground and pound from Roman. Cooper trying to control from the bottom.
Roman is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Roman wants to take a breather but Cooper is having none of it. Roman is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Roman looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper controlling the position well. Cooper wants to control but Roman is keeping busy and won't allow it. Roman prevents Cooper from improving his position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cooper throws a strike from the bottom that misses.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Sheldon Cooper was stalling too much, according to the referee. No joy there for Roman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Cooper stuffs the takedown attempt from Roman. Roman gets slowly back to his feet. Cooper shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Roman napping and manages to drive through into side control! Cooper working away. An elbow from Cooper crashes against the mat.
Cooper working the ground and pound but Roman is defending the strikes. Cooper tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cooper has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Roman tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Cooper easily slips into full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roman avoids a series of strikes thrown by Cooper.
Roman tries to hold on but Cooper postures up. Cooper stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Roman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Cooper pinned against the cage. Cooper gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. This has been an exciting period of action! Roman clinches. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Roman is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Cooper is defending well for now. Roman stops a takedown attempt from Cooper.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gaudencio Roman will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Cooper gets a clinch. Cooper pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Cooper looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Roman! Cooper wants to take a breather but Roman manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Cooper. Cooper trying to control but Roman is working from the bottom. Cooper avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Roman thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper stopping the sweep attempt from Roman. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cooper trying to control but Roman is working from the bottom. Cooper is stalling in the full guard. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Sheldon Cooper was stalling too much, according to the referee. Roman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Cooper to the mat! Cooper manages to get full guard. Cooper wants to stand up but Roman is controlling him. Roman might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Roman trying to control but Cooper is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roman throws a big right hand that misses. Roman stays in close to Cooper's body and controls the position. Cooper is trying to keep Roman in close.
Roman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cooper has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Roman has managed to get both his arms back between Cooper's legs - danger averted. Cooper trying to control the position.
Cooper is pulling down on Roman's head to control his posture.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Roman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Roman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Cooper throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Roman was covering up waiting for the punch and Cooper finishes the takedown easily into guard. Cooper advances position into side control! Cooper sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Roman is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Cooper slows the pace down. Cooper tries for a kimura but Roman is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Roman is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Roman manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Cooper is looking for a sweep. Roman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Roman is keen to just control but Cooper is a slippery customer. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sheldon Cooper showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Cooper closes the distance and clinches up with Roman, looking for a takedown. Cooper pushes Roman against the cage but Roman circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Gaudencio Roman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Cooper goes for a double leg but Roman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Roman continues to drive forward. Cooper breaks from the clinch.
Cooper shoots in for a takedown but Roman shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Gaudencio Roman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sheldon Cooper. Roman closes the distance but Cooper moves to the side and Cooper counters with a flying knee. Nice. Roman changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Cooper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Roman trying to control the action but Cooper is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Roman tries to move into full mount but can't pass Cooper's legs. Roman wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cooper keeps working. Cooper is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Roman off and has taken his back! Roman is in bad spot here.
Cooper is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Roman knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Roman for a finish. Cooper trying to control momentarily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Roman trying to control but not successfully. Roman has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Roman trying to control but not successfully. Roman fending off the submission attempt from Cooper. Roman tries to break free.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Will Cooper go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Roman is in bad spot here.
Sheldon Cooper has got the better of the ground game so far. Roman preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Cooper. Cooper has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Roman has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Cooper is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Roman defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper controls the action. Cooper avoiding Roman 's attempts to control his hands. Roman rolls, trying to escape but Cooper keeps control of the position.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cooper somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back. Roman is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sheldon Cooper. I think Cooper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
