The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Santos wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Black breaks from the clinch.
Black closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Black lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Santos looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Black sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Santos escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Black gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Santos controls Black momentarily but Black frees himself.

Santos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Black on the ground.

Santos is staying active underneath Black, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jack Black was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Black shoots for a double leg takedown but Santos sprawls well. He's pushed Black's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
