Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mongolia Heed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pettis's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Showtime. Heed comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Gentlelman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anthony Pettis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Mongolia Heed!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pettis misses with a two punch combination.
Pettis misses with a straight right.
Pettis fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Heed has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Heed avoids a punch combination nicely.
Pettis feints and then cracks Heed's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Heed down.
Pettis pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Heed back to the cage. Pettis follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
A telegraphed right hand from Pettis misses the target.
Pettis throws a hook but Heed avoids it easily.
Nice shot lands for Pettis.
A punch lands to the side of Heed 's head but he takes it in his stride.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Heed misses with a takedown attempt - Pettis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Pettis throws a hook to the side of Heed's head but Heed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pettis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Good shot there by Pettis.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Heed takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Heed is rocked!
A thudding body kick lands there by Pettis!
Pettis misses with a wild combination.
A left and a right from Pettis both land. Nice combination.
Heed is still on wobbly legs! Can Pettis finish him?
Pettis scores with a nice right hand.
Pettis throws a head kick that half lands.
Pettis walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Heed drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Pettis swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Heed's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Pettis!
After winning the bout, Anthony Pettis thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
