Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mike Nygard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Byrant Arlo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Gregory Folan and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nygard takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Nygard gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Nygard tries to pull guard but Arlo holds him up against the cage and eventually Nygard drops back down to his feet.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Arlo dives in for a single leg takedown but Nygard sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Nygard shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Arlo sprawls well. Arlo wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nygard gets slowly back to his feet.

Arlo tries to bum rush Nygard with a series of wild strikes but Nygard uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

A close round but Byrant Arlo will probably get the nod.
