Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jack Neely! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
30 - 13 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Simbo Klice! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Ian Loll and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Klice uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Neely. Neely gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Klice lands a body punch. Neely goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Neely definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Klice misses with a body punch.

Neely's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Klice tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. A nice left hand lands by Klice.

Neely moves away and avoids it. Neely chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Klice can pounce on him.

Klice throws a lazy right hand but Neely sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Klice fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! That kick from Neely tenderised Klice's leg. Klice is trying to keep his angry face on. Neely misses with a hook. Klice ducked under it nicely. Klice has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Neely lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Klice changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A big right from Neely misses. Klice has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Klice takes a swing at Neely's ribcage but misses. Neely stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Klice swivels though and keeps the full guard. Neely is working hard here to advance position. Neely stopping the sweep attempt from Klice. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Neely throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Neely postures up in Klice's guard and throws a big left but Klice blocks it. Neely looking to pass the guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Neely is working an open guard so Klice takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Klice throws a series of punches but Neely avoids them all with ease. Klice takes one on the button. Klice on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Donk. Neely catches Klice right on the button with a cross. Neely will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Neely lands a leg kick that knocks Klice off balance momentarily. Klice uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Neely has time to react.

Klice is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Klice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Neely is working away from the top position though. Klice is looking for a sweep. Neely is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neely throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Klice is positioning himself well to prevent Neely advancing to mount.
