Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bobby Bishop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Werkka Easterlund!
The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Easterlund is looking to clinch but Bishop is avoiding it.
Easterlund tries to clinch up but Bishop circles away and keeps his distance.
Bishop throws a looping overhand right but Easterlund ducks down to avoid it.

Easterlund clinches up against the ropes.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Easterlund.
Bishop landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Bishop fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Easterlund scores with an uppercut up the middle.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Easterlund has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bishop pushes Easterlund back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Easterlund working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bishop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bishop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Easterlund isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bishop stacks Easterlund on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bishop!

Bishop is looking to take a break and control but Easterlund is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Easterlund is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Easterlund explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Easterlund shoots in for a double leg but Bishop sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bishop uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Easterlund.

Bishop throws a leg kick that misses.
Bishop looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Bishop scores with a three punch combo!
Easterlund throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bishop checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Bishop connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Easterlund closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bishop circles away.
Bishop thuds his right hand into Easterlund's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bishop misses with a low kick as Easterlund jumps back.
Bishop leaves Easterlund with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Bobby Bishop has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Werkka Easterlund.
Easterlund tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bishop swivels and escapes.
Easterlund looks to land a left hand but Bishop moved out of range nicely.
Easterlund dives in and grabs Bishop's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bishop pushes down on Easterlund's head and hops out.

and Bishop counters with a body kick that stops Easterlund in his tracks momentarily.
Easterlund shoots for a double leg takedown but Bishop sprawls well. He's pushed Easterlund's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bishop scoring well with a low kick there.

Bishop closes the distance and clinches.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Easterlund has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Bishop after a bit of a struggle.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Werkka Easterlund will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Bishop rushes Easterlund and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch.
Easterlund swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Easterlund fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Easterlund is working on a single leg takedown against the ropes. Bishop can't fight it off and eventually Easterlund manages to take the fight to the floor. Bishop looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Easterlund tries to stand but Bishop is controlling from the bottom.

Easterlund drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bishop dives on top into guard.

Bishop stands up from Easterlund's guard - Bishop perhaps looking for a knockout.
Bishop throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Easterlund shoots for a takedown but Bishop saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Easterlund takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Easterlund takes a jab right on the kisser.
Bishop smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Bishop tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Bishop cracks Easterlund with an open hand slap.
Bishop fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Bishop takes the fight into the clinch.
Bishop misses with the head strike.
A right handed body shot lands from Bishop.
Easterlund blocking some punches.

Easterlund lands with a right to the head.

It looks like Werkka Easterlund has been cut.
Easterlund wants to break the clinch but can't.
Bishop lands a hook that snaps the head of Easterlund backwards.

Easterlund is rocked!

Bishop throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Easterlunds head.
Easterlund is still on wobbly legs! Can Bishop finish him?
Bishop pulls back and lands a big elbow that stuns Easterlund! Bishop unloads with more strikes and Easterlund sinks to his knees! This one is all over!
