Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron Kos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Rawley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ron Kos! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel Rawley! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kos throws out a loose jab but Rawley uses good head movement to avoid it. Kos throws a looping overhand right but Rawley ducks down to avoid it. Rawley avoids the body shot from Kos.
Kos dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Kos misses the shot to the body. Rawley moves away from the strike by Kos. Rawley throws a sloppy head kick and Kos moves out of range easily. Rawley darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Kos wants to get back to his feet. Rawley controlling the action here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kos tries to kick Rawley off but Rawley keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Rawley stands up and beckons Kos to join him on the feet. Kos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kos misses with a double jab
and Rawley makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kos waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rawley. Kos throws a big shot that misses. Kos throws a combination that misses and Rawley counters with a left and a right that stings Kos. A swing and a miss from Kos. Kos with a nice cross. Kos loads up on a big right hand but Rawley slips the punch. Rawley lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rawley looks winded! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Rawley lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Kos misses with a straight left. Kos throws a series of punches but Rawley moves out of range. Kos throws a jab but it's blocked by Rawley. Rawley steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Kos. Rawley fails with the takedown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kos pounces like a tiger and cracks Rawley with a vicious hook! Rawley is down but not out! Kos follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ron Kos!
