Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Purple Aki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Fontaine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aki comes to the ring accompanied by Slim Whitman - Indian Love Call. Fontaine has chosen P.S. Phuk You Too as his entrance music. Purple Aki had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fontaine swats away the attempt to clinch by Aki.
Fontaine tries to score a power double leg takedown but Aki sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fontaine somewhat.
Aki tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Fontaine shoots in looking for a takedown. Aki tries to sprawl out of it but Fontaine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Aki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fontaine gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Aki counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Purple Aki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky Fontaine.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Aki has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.

Aki is looking to control Fontaine's arms but Fontaine gets an underhook and turns him. Now Aki has his back to the ropes.
Aki can't find room to land a body shot as Fontaine controls the action.
Fontaine is trying to push Aki away but Aki has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.
Aki misses with a punch on the inside.
Fontaine looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Fontaine escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Fontaine shoots in looking for a takedown. Aki tries to sprawl out of it but Fontaine keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Aki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Aki slaps away a takedown attempt from Fontaine, before circling back to the center of the mat.
A chopping leg kick lands by Aki.

Aki lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fontaine looks winded!

Fontaine misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Aki lands a body shot.
Aki closes the distance and clinches.
Aki has Fontaine pushed against the ropes.
Aki tries a knee to the head but Fontaine blocks it.
Fontaine wants to get back to striking at distance but Aki won't allow it.
Fontaine breaks the clinch.
A punch combination from Aki misses.
Fontaine shoots in for a takedown but Aki shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ricky Fontaine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fontaine shoots in but no luck this time.
Aki's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Aki duly obliges.
Aki thuds his right hand into Fontaine's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Fontaine shoots in for a takedown but Aki shows good takedown defense.

Whack! Aki lands a heavy head kick that drops Fontaine. The ref tackles Aki to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Fontaine was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Purple Aki!
