Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Diego Manchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Koloff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Koloff will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Diego Manchez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ivan Koloff! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Manchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Koloff tries to avoid it but Manchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Koloff to the ground. Koloff escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Manchez closes the distance and clinches up with Koloff, looking for a takedown. Manchez pushes Koloff against the ropes but Koloff circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Manchez looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Manchez wants to pass the guard but Koloff is keeping the position. Koloff is pulling down on Manchez's head to control his posture. Manchez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Koloff swivels though and keeps the full guard. Koloff is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Koloff is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Manchez is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Manchez has gone for a leg lock! Koloff slips out almost immediately though and dives into Manchez's guard. Manchez has a closed guard, preventing Koloff from standing up. Koloff really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Manchez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manchez keeping moving, preventing Koloff from controlling successfully. Manchez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Koloff doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Koloff manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Koloff postures up in Manchez's guard and throws a big left but Manchez blocks it. Manchez looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Manchez might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Manchez is breathing heavily. Manchez is looking for a triangle but Koloff pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koloff trying to control but Manchez is working from the bottom. Koloff content to stall in guard here. Koloff wanted to stand there but Manchez had control of the position. Koloff is looking to work some ground and pound but Manchez has wrist control. Koloff avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Koloff wants to stand but Manchez is controlling his posture from full guard. Manchez has his foot on Koloff's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Koloff works his way back into a safe position though.

Manchez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Koloff gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Koloff wants to stand but Manchez is controlling his posture from full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Koloff trying to control the position from guard on top but Manchez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Koloff pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Manchez is keeping the position for now. Koloff in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Koloff avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Manchez throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Koloff escapes and throws Manchez's legs to the side, diving into side control! Manchez is trying to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Manchez dominated that round. That's time! Manchez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Manchez fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Manchez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Koloff tries to avoid it but Manchez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Koloff to the ground. Koloff escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Manchez is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Koloff. Manchez takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Diego Manchez has been cut. Manchez looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Diego Manchez. That's going to take a lot out of him. Koloff gets the takedown into side control. Koloff tries to stand but Manchez is controlling his head. Koloff stands up and beckons Manchez to his feet. Manchez gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Koloff counters with a series of strikes. Manchez will be more careful next time no doubt. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A jab from Koloff finds it's way through Manchez's defenses. Manchez misses with a takedown attempt and Koloff counters with a slapping leg kick. Koloff lands with a nice combination. Manchez backs away looking to recover.
That's one minute gone in the round. Manchez needs to keep his hands up - Koloff had a free shot at his head there. Diego Manchez is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Manchez has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Koloff scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Manchez is trying to improve his position. Koloff wants to stand but Manchez is controlling his arm. Manchez gets back to half guard. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Koloff wants to work for an arm triangle but Manchez is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Manchez regains full guard. Nicely done. Manchez is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Koloff frees his head nicely. Oh but Manchez has switched to an armbar! Koloff is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
