Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Rusty Orr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Matt Stafford! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Valeri Chadov and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Orr shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stafford as he avoids it easily. Stafford drives through with a takedown into guard. Orr escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Stafford gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Stafford trying to control the position from guard on top but Orr is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Orr looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

That's one minute gone in the round. Orr looking for a guillotine here but Stafford defends easily.
Orr has a closed guard, preventing Stafford from standing up. Stafford passes into half guard. Stafford wants to control but Orr is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Orr looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Stafford pushes past his half guard into mount! Stafford wants to control the action but instead Orr gets a body lock and reverses into Stafford's guard! Nice work! Orr postures up.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Matt Stafford wasn't active enough on the ground. Stafford gets a clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stafford breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Stafford moves into the clinch. Orr drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Orr is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Stafford is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rusty Orr. That's going to take a lot out of him. Orr tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Stafford pulls guard effortlessly. Stafford trying to keep a closed guard but Orr is proving a slippery customer.
Stafford wants to stand but Orr is controlling the position. Stafford throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Orr throwing strikes but missing. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stafford looking to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Matt Stafford dominated that round. That's time! Orr's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Orr wants to clinch. Orr closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Orr lands in his opponent's guard. Stafford has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Orr should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Stafford has tightened it up now! Orr should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
