Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hannes Hellberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Hellberg counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hellberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Souza swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hellberg won't allow Souza to sweep him here.
Souza wants to stand up but Hellberg is controlling him.

Souza wants to stand and escape but Hellberg is having none of it.

Souza had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Hellberg defends it easily.
Souza wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Hellberg is now in half guard.

Souza is looking for a triangle here but Hellberg uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Hellberg shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Souza's guard.

Souza isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hellberg stacks Souza on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hellberg!

Hellberg lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Souza! Hellberg sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Souza and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
