Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tad Chaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ian Boxhorn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tad Chaney has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tad Chaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ian Boxhorn! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boxhorn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chaney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Boxhorn works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Boxhorn throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Chaney works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Boxhorn thows a huge punch but Chaney dodges it nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Boxhorn wants to pass the guard but Chaney is defending well. Chaney wants to improve his position but Boxhorn is controlling well.
Boxhorn throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Boxhorn really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chaney. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Chaney trying to control here.
Chaney kicks off Boxhorn and gets to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boxhorn changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chaney looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Boxhorn working the ground and pound. You can see the frustration on Chaney's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boxhorn prevents Chaney from escaping the position. Sloppy strikes there by Boxhorn. Boxhorn looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Chaney is avoiding damage well.
Chaney wants to control but Boxhorn postures up. Boxhorn throwing shots but missing, from side control. Chaney struggling a bit here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chaney is looking for a sweep. Chaney manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chaney is looking to advance position but Boxhorn won't allow it. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Tad Chaney has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Chaney tries for a takedown but Boxhorn sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Boxhorn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Boxhorn thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Chaney's head. Boxhorn throws a strike but Chaney avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Chaney is breathing heavily. Boxhorn won't allow Chaney to sweep him here. Boxhorn missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boxhorn throws a big elbow that misses. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Boxhorn's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Boxhorn trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Boxhorn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Boxhorn working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Chaney's head. Boxhorn with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Boxhorn with a nice head shot there. Boxhorn throwing strikes from guard but Chaney blocks nicely. Boxhorn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chaney swivels though and keeps the full guard. Chaney looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chaney looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Boxhorn lands a couple of elbows. Boxhorn scoring with some ground and pound. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boxhorn throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Chaney works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Boxhorn throwing strikes but missing. Boxhorn with a nice head shot there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Boxhorn throwing strikes but missing. Boxhorn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ian Boxhorn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Tad Chaney's cut. That's time! Chaney's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Boxhorn scores with a takedown into Chaney's guard. Boxhorn connects with a couple of short punches. Chaney looking to control.
Chaney looking to hit a scissor sweep but Boxhorn is one step ahead there. Chaney will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chaney is on top in guard.
Chaney stands and steps away. Boxhorn gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Tad Chaney is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaney stuffs the takedown. Boxhorn fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Chaney tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Boxhorn paws at him with a jab and circles away. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Chaney. A combination from Boxhorn does no damage. Boxhorn circles away from the clinch attempt and Boxhorn decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chaney's guard. Boxhorn is looking to work some ground and pound but Chaney has wrist control. Boxhorn landing with the ground and pound. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Boxhorn throwing strikes from guard but Chaney blocks nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chaney is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Boxhorn defends well. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Boxhorn with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Boxhorn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Boxhorn cracks Chaney with a solid left hand. Chaney lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Boxhorn! Boxhorn wants to get back to his feet.
Boxhorn felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Chaney throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Chaney throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Boxhorn's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Chaney trying to control but he's not successful this time.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boxhorn wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Chaney.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Chaney won't let Boxhorn get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ian Boxhorn showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Tad Chaney's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Chaney shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Boxhorn defends it nicely. Chaney looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Boxhorn is fending him off so far but Chaney persists. Nope, Boxhorn circles away and we're back to standing. Chaney tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Boxhorn swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tad Chaney. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boxhorn dives in for a single leg takedown but Chaney sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Chaney wants to take the fight to the mat but Boxhorn manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Boxhorn breaks the clinch.
Boxhorn feints and as Chaney raises his hands in defense, Boxhorn changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Boxhorn trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Boxhorn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Boxhorn working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaney has momentary wrist control but Boxhorn slips an elbow through the middle. Boxhorn with a nice head shot there. Boxhorn stands up over Chaney, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chaney is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Chaney with a flurry of punches that miss. Chaney looking to sit in guard and control but Boxhorn gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Boxhorn postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Chaney holds on and takes a little breather. Boxhorn lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Boxhorn in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

We're going to have a standup here because Tad Chaney wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Boxhorn is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Chaney's half guard. Boxhorn throwing shots but Chaney is blocking nicely. Boxhorn scoring with strikes to the body and head. Chaney makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Chaney. Boxhorn looking to pass the guard. Boxhorn makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Ian Boxhorn is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Boxhorn accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
And that's the end of the fight! Ian Boxhorn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Boxhorn has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
