Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Ferrell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forrest Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ferrell might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Gators speech. Forrest Griffin will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ferrell looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Griffin!
Ferrell is putting a hurting on Griffin here, landing some big shots from side control.
Griffin is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Ferrell asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Griffin felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Griffin is looking for a sweep.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Griffin tries to buck Ferrell off but Ferrell is having none of it.
Griffin is still in real trouble! Can Ferrell finish him?
A lull in the action here as Ferrell stalls from top position.
Ferrell lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Ferrell lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Griffin! Ferrell senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Griffin out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
