Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Carson Andrew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yaniv Schulmann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Yaniv Schulmann is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carson Andrew! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Yaniv Schulmann! The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Andrew throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Andrew swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Andrew. Schulmann does a little dance to reset his feet. Andrew misses with an uppercut. Andrew looks to throw the jab but Schulmann is out of range. A jab from Schulmann does it's job there. Andrew thows a body shot but no joy. Schulmann takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Andrew tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Schulmann was well out of range. Poor timing from Andrew. Carson Andrew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Andrew slips a jab from Schulmann. Andrew looks to land a combination but Schulmann avoids it well. Andrew looks to score with a jab to the body but Schulmann is just out of range. Andrew moves into range and connects with a jab. Andrew cracks a nice hook into Schulmann's ribs. Schulmann throws a body punch but Andrew moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrew fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Schulmann on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Andrew misses with an uppercut. Schulmann saw that one coming. Andrew looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Andrew misses with a body shot.
Andrew ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schulmann moves away. Andrew darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Andrew misses with the combination.
Good exchange - Schulmann coming out on top. Schulmann shoots in and bounces Andrew off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Schulmann's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schulmann trying to control the position from guard on top but Andrew is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Schulmann pushing down on Andrew's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Andrew is defending against the submission attempts here by Schulmann.
Schulmann is trying to control. Andrew wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Andrew tries to roll over but Schulmann keeps him under control. Schulmann controlling the action here. My spies in Beast Cartel inform me that Schulmann has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schulmann moves nicely into side control. Schulmann tries for a kimura but Andrew is defending well. Schulmann controlling from side mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Schulmann goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Andrew rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Schulmann's guard! Nice work there by Andrew! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Schulmann looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Schulmann is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Andrew throws a big right hand that misses. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Schulmann trying to strike off his back.
Schulmann has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Andrew can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Andrew has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Schulmann is proving hard to escape from. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Yaniv Schulmann will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Andrew rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Schulmann counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Schulmann looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Andrew is trying to maintain the position but Schulmann is very close to passing his half guard. Schulmann wants to work for an arm triangle but Andrew is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Andrew is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Andrew wants to control but Schulmann is keeping busy and won't allow it. Schulmann looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Schulmann is looking to take a break and control but Andrew is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Andrew is trying to stand.
Schulmann tries to pass the half guard into mount. Andrew knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Yaniv Schulmann has got the better of the ground game so far. Schulmann is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Andrew doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Schulmann. Schulmann takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schulmann wants to lay and pray for a moment but Andrew keeps working. Schulmann seems to be looking for submissions.
Schulmann trying to control the action but Andrew is working from the bottom. Schulmann is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Andrew sees it coming and defends easily. Schulmann is just content to waste time from the top position. Andrew takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Andrew looking to control.
Schulmann chips away with some ground and pound. Schulmann pushing down on Andrew's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Schulmann is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Schulmann is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Well, if Schulmann is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Schulmann is looking to advance position but Andrew won't allow it. Schulmann is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Andrew has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Andrew is not content to let Schulmann control the position. Schulmann stalling. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Andrew holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Schulmann not landing any meaningful shots this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yaniv Schulmann showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Schulmann slips under a jab from Andrew. Andrew throws a looping overhand right but Schulmann ducks down to avoid it. Schulmann throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Schulmann feints and as Andrew raises his hands in defense, Schulmann changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Schulmann is working Andrew over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Schulmann wants to control from the top but Andrew keeps moving. Schulmann is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Schulmann postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schulmann looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Yaniv Schulmann was stalling too much, according to the referee. Andrew misses with a double jab.
Andrew stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Andrew wants it to stay on the feet. Andrew feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Schulmanns jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Schulmann throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Andrew's waist but Andrew gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Schulmann off to one side. Andrew throws a nice looking combination but Schulmann bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A looping hook to the body misses from Andrew. Schulmann does a little dance to reset his feet. Andrew scores with a hook to the body. Schulmann takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Andrew ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Schulmann moves away. Yaniv Schulmann is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Schulmann looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Andrew swings for the body but Schulmann moves out of range.
Andrew scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Andrew misses with a hook
and Schulmann counters with a single leg into guard. Andrew didn't expect that. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schulmann engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Schulmann's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Yaniv Schulmann was stalling too much, according to the referee. Schulmann closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Schulmann lands in his opponent's guard. Schulmann controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Yaniv Schulmann wasn't active enough on the ground. Andrew lands a lovely overhand right. Schulmann scores with a decent looking hook. Carson Andrew has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Schulmann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Schulmann closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Andrew to the mat! Andrew manages to get full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Schulmann is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Yaniv Schulmann comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Schulmann winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
